Hunan Kitchen - Most delicious spicy dishes in town !

Other than seafood, I've been craving to eat spicy dishes too!
So today , I'm going to write a review about Szechuan cuisine. Most of Szechuan dishes are spicy. It has bold taste of spices because it is composed of seven basic flavours: sour, pungent, hot, sweet, bitter, aromatic, and salty ( I got this info from Wiki). Since i LOVE spicy, salty and aromatic foods, this restaurant is very suitable for my taste !

The Restaurant is called Hunan Kitchen. It is located in Mangga Besar (Chinatown area) - West Jakarta. We call this area as "Glodok". ( FYI - This restaurant serve Non Halal foods)

The restaurant looks :

Today I went there with my bf and 2 close friends. We were too excited to eat here (actually we are really BIG fan of this restaurant !!). We often eat here but never write the review (my friend has blog too). Since i'm writing blogs nowadays, i decided to write a special impression to this restaurant.

Today we ordered our favorite menus which were : Tim Kodok ala Hunan, Baby Buncis Cabe Kering & Samchan ala Hunan ( not sure with the english name, so i write it in Bahasa).

The dishes look like this :

Samchan ala Hunan

Baby Buncis Cabe Kering

 Tim Kodok ala Hunan

All of the dishes taste GREAT ! The special soup of Tim kodok ala Hunan made us sweating and crying hahahahaha ! The soup is made of chili, garlic and some other spices. And believe it or not we ordered extra soup and finished it ( Oh God! we have no idea what will happen tomorrow - maybe stomach ache?). For Samchan ala Hunan, it is kind a stir fry lard with spring onion, chili and garlic. I like the lard here because the lard is dry, not too wet or oily), Lastly baby buncis itself tastes really different with others' restaurant. This one is veryyyyy special ! It is still crunchy although the shape looks like that. We have no idea how it is made.

Will we come back to this restaurant? Definetly YES !!!
